ViPEC License
ViPEC is distributed under the GNU public license (GPL). The
intent of this license is to establish freedom to share and change the
software regulated by this license under the open source model.
In a nutshell this means that:
- You are allowed to freely distribute the software and use it free of charge.

You are allowed to modify the software, but you have to clearly indicate the
changes. This is to prevent unofficial releases being confused
with official releases. The source code must be available on a public site,
or available on request.

You may distribute modified binary versions of the software, given that
the source code for your modifications are available on a public site,
or available on request.

All the documentation files and the LICENSE file must be included in your
distribution in an unmodified form.
We maintain the right to charge a small fee for the Windows (TM) version of ViPEC.
This is to cover the cost of the Windows development tools which, unlike the Linux
ones, are not free of charge.
