Thank you for installing JAlbum. I hope you will find it being an easy to use and powerful
tool to create web-based photo albums of your images.

This version contains a lot of enhancements (see help file), many based on user requests.
JAlbum is freeware. I get my motivation from comments and encouragement from users

and tell me how you use the program, if you lack anything etc.

<h3>Quick start</h3>
<ol>
<li> Start JAlbum
<li> Drag and drop an image folder/directory onto the "image directory" section of JAlbum (preferred)
<li> Select output directory in the same fashion or select "Output to image directory"
<li> Press "Make Album" to have an album generated in this directory or select another directory
<li> Finally press "View album". A web explorer window will be launched showing the newly created album

<h3>Extending JAlbum</h3>
JAlbum has a skins directory containing template files where you can make additions and modifications
in order to in detail control the style and layout of the generated albums. It requires some basic HTML
and CSS skills, but is fairly simple, just look at the existing examples. If you make some good-looking
additions and want others to make use of your artistic touch, please send them to me for inclusion.
